Watching 3 grown men gasping for air

Today was fun! I got to put Jay, Ron and Rob through a killer WOD. I kept them on their toes though by just writing the exercises, no times, nada. Just this:

Burpees
Push Press
Sumo Deadlift High Pull
Thrusters

Then I had them get ready, and 30 seconds of each, then I yell out "3 laps around the building". They get back and I go into 45 seconds of each then 2 laps. Then 1 minute and 1 lap. And I didn't stop there. I had no mercy because I added bottom-to-bottom tabata squats. My legs hurt watc… Continue

Cards from hell!!!

So I was inspired by yesterday's WOD, and after the 9am class Kona and I decided to pay a visit to the box for a workout. It was:

Hearts (9 through king) = 95 lb deadlift
Clubs (9 through king) = 16kg front squat
Diamonds (9 though king) = 18kg swing
Spades (2 through 5) = run laps
Joker = 15 burpees

40 Days and 40 Nights

Dave, Erik and Dave gave maximum effort last night. I was a drill sergeant. Dave's head was even steaming after the WOD. Here it is:

40 air squats
40 push-ups
40 reverse lunges
40 presses
40 broad umps
40 push presses
40 box jumps
40 kettlebell swings
40 kettlebell front squats
40 burpees
40 pull-ups
